That this House congratulates Glasgow Women's Library (GWL) on its 25th anniversary; welcomes that the library, now based in the city's Bridgeton area, has become a focal point for feminist thought, discussion and performance; further congratulates the GWL on being awarded status as a Recognised Collection of National Significance; notes that the GWL was first opened in 1991 in Garnethill, following a showcase of women's culture during Glasgow's year of European City of Culture in 1990; commends all of the staff and volunteers of the GWL, in particular Adele Patrick, the GWL Lifelong Learning and Creative Development Manager and Scotswoman of the Year 2015; and looks forward to many more successful years to come for the GWL.
