Access To Trains

EDM number 876 in 2003-04, proposed by Mark Lazarowicz on 22/03/2004.

That this House commends the disability charity, Leonard Cheshire, for the success of its All Aboard campaign; notes the strength of feelings amongst the disability movement in support of an early end date for inaccessible trains and widespread opposition to an end date of 2035; and therefore urges the Government to bring forward an early end date ensuring fair and equal access to the railways network for all.

This motion has been signed by a total of 146 MPs, 1 of these signatures have been withdrawn.
