Agriculture In Scotland And Wales

EDM number 335 in 1991-92, proposed by Andrew Welsh on 04/12/1991.

That this House gives unequivocal recognition to the importance of the agricultural industry to both the rural and national economy; pledges fullest support to the industry; notes with deep concern that not a single Scottish or Welsh Conservative honourable Member participated in the debate on agriculture on Wednesday 4th December; and regards this as a gross dereliction of duty and a clear lack of interest in the rural economies of Scotland and Wales.

This motion has been signed by a total of 20 MPs.
