That this House expresses its regret and sadness over the tragic loss of advocate Ms Asma Jahangir, the renowned human rights lawyer, consistent opponent of religious hatred and fearless champion of the downtrodden people, including the religious minorities of Pakistan; commends her courageous work for justice and equality over many decades; and passes its condolences to the bereaved family, the people and the Government of Pakistan.
