Farm Safety

EDM number 536 in 2017-19, proposed by Jim Shannon on 14/11/2017.
Categorised under the topic of Agriculture.

That this House calls on the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs to work with the farming communities and the NFU to improve safety on farms, offer training to young farmers and instil a mindset of high safety standards, bearing in mind that farms are potentially the most dynamic and dangerous of industries and that safe enough is sometimes not safe enough.
