That this House congratulates the family of the late Peter Baldwin on their decision continually to raise awareness of Type 1 diabetes through the campaign Know Type 1 which aims to make the 4Ts test mandatory for all GP appointments; notes that the Baldwin family have been joined in their campaign in Peter's memory by Diabetes UK; further notes the UK has the world's fifth highest diagnosis in children aged up to 14-years, with 24.5 per 100,000 children being diagnosed with the condition every year, double that of France at 12.2 per 100,000; and calls on the Government to boost Type 1 diabetes in children awareness throughout the UK and introduce legislation and regulations which would make the 4Ts test mandatory and standard in all GP appointments for all those under 18-years.
