That this House congratulates the Sirens on making history by becoming the first Scottish team to join netball's Vitality Superleague; notes that a sell-out crowd of 3,700 people turned out to watch the Sirens take on the Wasps in its opening fixture at Glasgow's Emirates Arena; recognises that the Sirens want to increase the sporting opportunities for women by ensuring that Scotland's daughters have the same opportunities around sport that it's sons have; welcomes the support that Netball Scotland, The University of the West of Scotland and others provided to support the Sirens; and wishes the Sirens the best of success for the season ahead.
