That this House notes that Glasgow Kelvin College has been shortlisted for the 2017 TES Awards for Further Education in the prized UK College of the Year category; recognises that the college operates in some of Scotland's most deprived communities and continually strives to ensure access and progression for learners; congratulates Glasgow Kelvin College, the only Scottish college to be nominated for this award, for its hard work and tireless efforts in ensuring an effective and aspirational learner journey for all of its students, wherever their starting point; and wishes the staff and students of Glasgow Kelvin College continued success for 2017.
