That this House recognises that May 2016 marks the silver anniversary of Motherwell Football Club's memorable victory in the 1991 Scottish Cup Final; notes that this triumph led to the club qualifying for European football for the first time in its history, something which has been successfully achieved on a number of occasions since; acknowledges that 2016 also marks 130 years since the formation of Motherwell Football Club; and commends the valuable work done by the club within Motherwell and Wishaw constituency, particularly through its Community Trust, which focuses primarily on the physical and mental wellbeing of local people of all ages.
