Sfa Grassroots Awards 2016 And Blantyre Soccer Academy

That this House congratulates Blantyre Soccer Academy (BSA) for recently being named as the recipients of the Scottish Football Association's (SFA) Best Professional Club in the Community Award; notes that it will be presented with this award on 22 September 2016 at Scotland's national stadium, Hampden Park; recognises that since 2012-13, the football club has won several honours from the SFA, including being named as a Legacy Quality Mark Club in 2014; highlights that its successes on the pitch are equalled by its tremendous charitable efforts off it; and hopes that BSA has a long, prosperous future which can continue to serve the local community with distinction.
