Neilston: Scotland's First Ever Cycle Friendly Community

That this House congratulates Neilston Development Trust on the award of Scotland's first-ever Cycle Friendly Community Award for its Cycle Neilston! programme of events, activities and services; notes that the Cycle Friendly Community Award was launched by Cycling Scotland to recognise the efforts of communities and groups in promoting cycling as an accessible and convenient travel choice for people of all ages and abilities; and commends the Neilston Development Trust for bringing together a range of partners, including St Thomas' Primary School, Neilston Primary School, Neilston Leisure Centre, Neilston Charter Advisory Group, Voluntary Action, East Renfrewshire Sustrans Volunteers and East Renfrewshire Council, to make Neilston Scotland's first cycle-friendly community.
