That this House recognises the exceptional contribution made by Barnardo's in local communities and particularly in its unwavering support for children, families and any individuals needing assistance in North Ayrshire; praises the hard work of this charity and its volunteers who tirelessly seek to improve the lives of children and young people who are the unfortunate victims of poverty, abuse and discrimination; commends the group in reaching out to 245 families in 2014-15 through its North Ayrshire Family Service; acknowledges the importance of charitable organisations in offering support to individuals and groups who need it most, particularly at times when welfare reforms are affecting those who are most vulnerable; and wishes Barnardo's North Ayrshire the very best of luck in its new premises on Main Street, Kilwinning.
