Disability Living Allowance And Tax Credits
EDM number 353 in 2015-16, proposed by Alan Meale on 20/07/2015.
Categorised under the topics of Benefits policy, Children and families, Family benefits and Sickness, disability and carers' benefits.
That this House fails to understand how a family with a disabled child receiving disability living allowance can be better off if the parents lose their tax credits because they have a collective household income of more than £15,000 per annum; and calls on the Government to help and protect the disabled and vulnerable, not to discriminate financially against them.
This motion has been signed by a total of 59 MPs.
