That this House notes that the Presiding Officer of the Scottish Parliament, Tricia Marwick MSP, will be standing down from her role at the forthcoming Holyrood elections, the first woman to hold that post; congratulates the Rt hon. Member for Fife on her successful tenure over the last five years, and in particular, for her work during Scotland's independence referendum; expresses gratitude to her on her service to the people of her constituency since the Scottish Parliament was reconvened in 1999; wishes her well in her well-deserved retirement; and hopes that she will continue to put her knowledge and expertise to good use in the future.
