That this House welcomes the publication of The Herald league tables of exam performances of secondary schools for 2014-15; notes that the performances of the schools were based on pupils achieving The Herald's benchmark of five or more Highers by the time they leave school; recognises that Our Lady and St Patrick's High School in West Dunbartonshire recorded remarkable results with 45 per cent of its pupils achieving five or more Highers which far outstrips the benchmark of 30; further notes that these results for Our Lady and St Patrick's are remarkable given that it has a 39 per cent level of deprivation across its catchment area; and believes that these results are down to the dedication of staff and pupils to beat all expectations for which they deserve high praise.
