Pirnmill Village Association Big Lottery Fund Award

That this House congratulates the Pirnmill Village Association on the Isle of Arran in North Ayrshire on being awarded £1,200 from the Big Lottery Fund in February 2016, as part of the Awards for All Scotland grant programme; commends the work of the Big Lottery Fund, which supports smaller organisations in securing funding for a variety of different projects and improvements, including assisted learning, enhancing local spaces, and bringing communities together; and welcomes the fact that the Pirnmill Village Association intends to use the money to conduct a community needs survey, to establish the future requirements of the village and its residents, based on consultation with the local community.
