That this House welcomes the £138,159 grant awarded to Greener Kirkcaldy as part of the Big Lottery Fund's Medium Grants Scotland initiative; acknowledges that this funding will help Greener Kirkcaldy in the delivery of its community-led activity programme, which brings the community of Ravenscraig in Kirkcaldy together to develop its already established community orchard project; understands that the award will additionally support weekly volunteer food growing sessions and training for participating volunteers; notes that the funding will further support the delivery of community food growing workshops and events for the community to showcase its project and produce; and looks forward to this funding having long-term benefits for those involved in the programme, and for the wider community in Kirkcaldy.
