Gypsy And Traveller Sites

EDM number 504 in 2008-09, proposed by Julie Morgan on 19/01/2009.
Categorised under the topic of Ethnic groups.

That this House notes the shortage of Gypsy and Traveller sites; believes that an increase in the supply of Gypsy and Traveller sites related to actual need will reduce the number of unauthorised encampments and developments and enforcement costs, improving community relations and cohesion; and further believes that more sites will improve Gypsies' and Travellers' access to services and opportunities to contribute culturally and economically to communities.

This motion has been signed by a total of 51 MPs.
