That this House deplores the actions of some banks in withdrawing crucial credit lines from small businesses despite having been bailed out themselves by taxpayers; and calls on the Government to ensure, as a condition of receiving help, that the banks in turn help their customers, and especially small businesses which are the lifeblood of the economy.
