That this House calls on local authorities to take a lead by seeking to solve the lack of affordable homes in rural areas, and the challenges to the viability of farms, by working with farmers, house builders and housing associations in order to make use of disused or underused farm buildings for the exclusive purpose of creating affordable homes for local people.
