2012 Olympic Logo

EDM number 1651 in 2006-07, proposed by Richard Younger-Ross on 07/06/2007.

That this House compliments the Olympic Delivery Authority on choosing an innovative design for the 2012 Olympic logo which challenges the traditional conservative approach to such design; believes that the logo will appeal to younger people, encouraging their interest in the Olympic Games; welcomes the fact that the design is dynamically constructed for the electronic media; but regrets that the flashing sequences cause problems for people with epilepsy; notes that these sequences have now been withdrawn; and hopes that they can be structured into a safe sequence.
