Anniversary Of The Death Of Yitzhak Rabin

EDM number 986 in 2005-06, proposed by Mark Oaten on 09/11/2005.

That this House pays tribute to the legacy of the late Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, who lost his life in the struggle for peace on 4th November a decade ago; stands by the people of Israel in cherishing the remembrance of the courage and dedication he showed in his quest for a lasting peace in the Middle East; and celebrates Prime Minister Rabin's intrepid determination, in the face of violent extremism, in striving for a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict that would provide peace and security to all the inhabitants of the region.

This motion has been signed by a total of 66 MPs.
