Rural Subsidy For The Post Office Network

EDM number 2698 in 2005-06, proposed by Hywel Williams on 10/10/2006.

That this House recognises the recent concerns of Age Concern over the Government's lack of commitment to renewing the rural sub-post office network subsidy which is intended to keep local rural sub-post offices open and so provide a variety of services, especially for older people; and calls on the Government to confirm the renewal of the rural sub-post office network subsidy.

This motion has been signed by a total of 61 MPs.
