That this House acknowledges the severity of the threat posed by modern terrorist groups; believes that the best way to tackle this threat is through the judicious use of intelligence; and calls for the Government to allow the use of properly regulated wiretap and intercept intelligence as evidence in court, as supported by both the Metropolitan Police Commissioner and Liberty.
