Anti-Corruption Measures

That this House welcomes the UK's commitment to effective anti-corruption measures expressed in the 2005 G8 CommuniquÃ© and evidenced by the recent ratification of the UN Convention Against Corruption; notes the need for modern, comprehensive and intelligible anti-corruption legislation which is fully compliant with international obligations; and urges the Government to introduce as soon as possible legislation broadly along the lines of the Corruption Bill introduced, with all-party support, to this House on 23rd May 2006.
