Pitreavie Amateur Athletic Club

That this House congratulates Dumfermline's Pitreavie Amateur Athletic Club which will be celebrating its 50th anniversary in September; celebrates the numerous achievements of the Pitreavie athletes, many of whom have competed at the highest level including the Olympic Games, in which Linsey McDonald won a medal in 1980 and Ian Mackie reached the 100 metres semi-finals in 1996; recognises the contribution the Club makes to the well-being of the local community and to the nurturing of talented young athletes; and wishes the Club years of continued success.
