Investment In The Built Environment And Public Services

EDM number 667 in 2004-05, proposed by Martin Caton on 07/02/2005.

That this House acknowledges the importance of investment in the built environment in improving public services and the quality of life for all; welcomes; therefore, the recent report, Achievable Targets, from the Construction Products Association; recognises its findings as a useful and timely review of the Government's targets and progress towards delivering new and refurbished hospitals, schools, housing, transport and water infrastructure; shares the Association's concerns that new or updated targets for investment in several key areas are needed; and urges the Government to ensure the efficient and timely delivery of this much needed investment.

This motion has been signed by a total of 52 MPs.
