Line 7, leave out from 'notes' to end and insert 'that Government funding for medical research, including Endometriosis is distributed through the Medical Research Council (MRC), an independent body; therefore concludes that the difference in grant allocations for research into endometriosis of ú1.8 million in 1998-99 compared to ú1.2 million in 2001-02 is a reflection of the grant applications received, rather than a deliberate decision to reduce funding; therefore encourages the scientific community to bring forward high quality research applications on endometriosis to the MRC; and calls on the Government to ensure that everything possible is done to raise awareness and to help those who suffer from the condition.'.
