Gibraltar 300th Anniversary

EDM number 56 in 2003-04, proposed by Michael Ancram on 26/11/2003.

That this House notes the forthcoming 300th Anniversary of Gibraltar being British; recognises the stalwart and selfless loyalty of Gibraltar to the UK over those 300 years; and calls on the British Government to hold public celebrations of this anniversary, and for the Prime Minister to pay an official visit to Gibraltar to thank publicly the Gibraltarian people for their loyalty.
