CHILDREN'S CANCER MONTH 2003

EDM number 25 in 2003-04, proposed by Tim Yeo on 26/11/2003.

That this House supports Children's Cancer Month and congratulates Cancer Research UK for designating December to this cause; notes that 1,400 children are diagnosed with cancer in the UK each year and that the disease is the most common cause of death from illness in children aged between one and 14; and commends the excellent work done by UK charities in helping children cope with this illness and in encouraging them to recover from the different types of cancer that affect them.

This motion has been signed by a total of 76 MPs.
