Act Of Settlement 1701

EDM number 1018 in 2002-03, proposed by Paul Tyler on 04/04/2003.

That this House recognises that the Act of Settlement 1701 is widely accepted to be discriminatory and is arguably in breach of the Human Rights Act 1998; and urges the Government to give full and urgent consideration to repealing it.

This motion has been signed by a total of 19 MPs.
