leave out from 'East Asia' and add 'but considers that losing a million listeners to save half a million pounds is a bad bargain which hits old friends, makes it far more difficult for them and for British visitors to North America and Australasia to receive BBC World Service programmes on any regular basis and will reduce British influence in an important part of the world which should not be taken for granted.'.
