Audiology Waiting Lists

EDM number 1446 in 2001-02, proposed by Sandra Gidley on 13/06/2002.

That this House notes the threefold increase in waiting lists for audiology appointments at NHS trusts over the last three years for which figures are available; notes no increase since 1997 in the number of audiology consultants; and calls for hearing test waiting lists to be published routinely and separately aside from ear, nose and throat data and for the Government to take urgent action to improve audiology services.
