That this House notes the net increase of 11.1 per cent. in surplus revenue and the 15.7 per cent. total return on the Crown Estate investment property portfolio; which is 4.2 per cent. above the Investment Property Databank; is concerned that these improvements are at the cost of local communities; and calls upon the Government to establish a Royal Commission to investigate the workings of the Crown Estate and ensure that its operations are to the benefit of Her Majesty's subjects.
