Conduct Of The Honourable Member For Lichfield;amdt. Line 2:

EDM number 1626A1 in 1997-98, proposed by Michael Fabricant on 30/07/1998.

leave out from 'Lichfield' to end and add 'and notes that the Independent Television Commission stated in formal written response that it felt the presentation of the commentary at the end of the broadcast fell below the high standard expected from experienced political commentators, and that although it drew on earlier reports of political sketch-writers it was disappointingly hackneyed and flippant; and that the ITC would convey this view to senior management at Central Television; and notes that the honourable Member for Lichfield has made it very clear that he believes that all sections of society should have equal opportunities to access training and work and that the work ethic should be instilled among all those young people currently not imbued with it whether with it whether they be Afro-Caribbeans, Asians or feckless young whites.'.

This is a ammendment to 1626.
