Conduct Of The Honourable Member For Lichfield

That this House notes the complaint brought by the Chair of Lichfield Conservative Association and supported by the honourable Member for Lichfield; considers the comments made by the honourable Member regarding the employment and training of ethnic minorities a legitimate area for concern and comment; and congratulates the Political Editor of Central Television News in pointing out that such a remark was 'dangerous' and that the honourable Member 'should not be able to get away with it' and therefore welcomes the decision of the Independent Television Commission in rejecting the complaint.
