Transfer Of Prisoners;amdt. Line 2:

EDM number 1141A1 in 1995-96, proposed by Ann Winterton on 11/07/1996.

leave out from `persons' to end, and add `reaffirms its view that the proper place for those who have mounted cowardly and inhuman terrorist attacks upon British citizens and serving members of the Royal Ulster Constabulary or Her Majesty's armed forces is behind bars in British jails; believes that just as there is no remission from a lifetime of grief for those bereaved by terrorist attacks or from anxiety by those maimed by them, there should be no remission of sentence for those convicted of perpetrating such attacks; and demands that the Home Secretary delivers policies in this regard which send a clear, unequivocal, and uncompromising message to ter rorists and their apologists in Sein Fein/IRA that terrorism is a vile crime for which the stiffest sentences, under the toughest regimes are appropriate.'.

This is a ammendment to 1141.
