leave out from 'House' to end and add 'believes that it is valuable for senior civil servants to gain insight into the business world via non-executive directorships of public companies; welcomes the appointment of Derek Marsh, as a non-executive director of an important and successful company; notes that neither Bovis Homes Ltd nor Mr Marsh has been subject to a penalty for late filing of accounts and that no records have been expunged at Companies House; approves the OPSS guidance to departments which seeks to avoid potential conflicts of interest when civil servants are appointed to company boards; and asserts that no conflict of interest has arisen in respect of Mr Marsh and Bovis Homes.
