leave out from 'Ministers;' to end and add 'notes that the Labour Party has very clear policies on the import of wild caught birds into the E.C., the use of live animals for the testing of cosmetics, the battery cage for egg laying hens, journey limits for slaughter animals, their welfare at the point of slaughter and the regulation of zoos; also believes action should be taken on badgers, hunting with hounds, fur farming, the protection of wild mammals, whales and dolphins, species and habitat protection, dog registration and circuses; and looks forward to the election of a Labour Government so that real progress can be made in animal welfare during the United Kingdom Presidency of the E.C. and thereafter.'.
