Independent Pay Review Body For University Academic And Related Staff

That this House recognises the continuing decline in morale among university staff because of continuous salary erosion, reduced per capita funding and continuous reorganisation; welcomes the call of the Committee of Vice Chancellors that an independent pay review body for academic and related staff be established; and therefore urges Her Majesty's Government to establish such a body immediately.
