That this House notes that the Ministry of Defence plans to sell houses in Wales no longer required for their personnel; declares that this course of action will in many cases place these homes beyond the reach of local people, especially young people without homes of their own; calls on the Ministry of Defence to make over such homes to local district councils for use as rented accommodation; and further calls on the Ministry of Defence to release potential industrial sites and agricultural land to the local community.
