Leave out from 'House' to end and add 'notes that the honourable Members for East Lothian, Reading East and Rochford were able to meet Mr Haydar Kutlu in prison in Ankara on 7th March following a request to the Turkish Justice Minister during a parliamentary delegation to Turkey; believes that a mature nation like Turkey can accommodate full freedom of political expression while continuing to exercise its duty to protect its citizens against terrorism from any source; and welcomes the growing support among parliamentarians and citizens in Turkey for reforms to extend civil liberties in a modern, secular and democratic society which aspires to achieve full membership of the European Community.'.
