Welsh Grand Committee
EDM number 729 in 1989-90, proposed by Geraint Howells on 14/03/1990.
That this House agrees that the Welsh Grand Committee is not as effective a body as it could be as a forum for discussing matters affecting Wales; and calls for: (a) the Committee to be convened to discuss the reports produced by the Select Committee on Welsh Affairs and to consider a motion on the recommendations in those reports and (b) the Committee to meet in Wales on at least two occasions during each parliamentary session to enable the people of Wales to attend its meetings.
This motion has been signed by a total of 8 MPs.
