Visit Of New Consensus To Westminster
EDM number 605 in 1989-90, proposed by Harry Barnes on 22/02/1990.
That this House warmly welcomes the visit to Westminster of representatives of the Irish group New Consensus; and notes that the group, which recently organised a dignified picket on the theme of Stop the Killings at the Sinn Fein Conference in Dublin, deserves broad-based support both for its efforts to challenge at every opportunity ambiguity and ambivalence about the right to life in Northern Ireland and for its promotion of democracy and civil liberties.
This motion has been signed by a total of 11 MPs.
