Ferranti Operations In Wales

That this House notes the importance of Ferranti to the British defence industry; believes that the Government should play a part in maintaining the company's viability; calls on Ferranti's operation in Wales to be retained, especially at Cwmbran; and congratulates the Cwmbran plant on its contribution to advanced technology in South Wales.
