Project 2000 In Wales

That this House expresses its deep concern over the Welsh Office decision to withhold full implementation of Project 2000 in Wales and to fund just one course at one institution; notes that failure to fully implement Project 2000 can only exacerbate the problem of nurse shortages in the 1990s; further notes that the Prime Minister welcomed the Project 2000 initiative in this House on 29th March 1990; and calls for the full implementation of Project 2000 in Wales in 1991 as previously promised.
