That this House congratulates the Machen Trust on securing a grant of £5,000 from the Corra Foundation 2017 Awards towards the salary of the full-time Children's Worker to work in Strutherhill and Hareleeshill; acknowledges the work that this group does to encourage, enable and empower young people; and commends the group for its endeavours to make a positive difference to the life chances of young people in the Larkhall area by providing activities, experiences and opportunities, and, by doing so, building a stronger community.
