150th Anniversary Of Birth Of Amy Carmichael

That this House notes the forthcoming 150th anniversary of the birth of Amy Carmichael, born in December 1867 in Northern Ireland, who became one of the most famous Christian missionaries of the 20th century, writing more than 30 books, spending 56 years of her life spreading the Gospel message and helping the poor in India; and recognises the continuing work that the Dohnavur Fellowship continues to do more than 100 years after its establishment by Amy.
