That this House notes the passing of rock and roll legend Malcolm Young, originally from the Cranhill area of Glasgow's East End, at the age of 63; recognises his huge contribution to the music industry through more than 40 years as rhythm guitarist for the hard rock group AC/DC; salutes Mr Young on his inspiration to thousands of guitarists around the world; and extends sincere sympathy to the family of one of the pioneers of hard rock.
