Hospital Car Parking Charges In London

EDM number 521 in 2017-19, proposed by Robert Halfon on 13/11/2017.
Categorised under the topics of Health services and Roads.

That this House notes that the Government’s guidance on hospital car parking was reissued in 2014; further notes that hospital parking charges in London remain disproportionately high and extremely burdensome for patients; notes that one trust with hospitals in central London charges over £260 for a week of parking; is disappointed that London Hospitals continue to charge on average £17.64 for one day and £112.28 for one week; and urges the Government to take action on hospital car parking charges.
